오랜 시간이 우리 주변에 존재하고 있던 이 소반은 자세히 들여다 보면 소반위에 음식들을 얹고 들고 나르는 이들부터 방에 앉아 옮겨진 음식을 먹는 이들까지 배려하고 생각하였던 우리 선조들의 지혜를 들여다 볼 수 있는 우리나라 전통 가구문화이다. 우리의 클라이언트는 획기적이며 사람들의 인상에 깊이 남을 수 있는 이야기거리가 있는 디저트 타워를 만들고자 했다. 그래서 우리는 음식의 고유한 형태를 유지하고 그것을 받아 들었을 때 배려하고 대접 받고 있다는 느낌이 들 수 있는 한국의 전통적인 소반과 유럽의 대표적인 디저트 타워 문화를 믹스매치 하는 것이 어떨까 하는 생각을 하게 되었고, 이것들로 하여금 고객들이 한국의 전통적인 디자인적 매력과 기존의 쉽게 봐왔던 형태의 재발견을 고객들이 생각하고 느낄 수 있도록 소반 디저트 타워를 기획하였다.

Soban, which has existed around us for a long time, is a traditional furniture culture of Korea, where you can see the wisdom of our ancestors who considered and thought about those who put and carry food on Soban, and those who eat foods that have been moved into the room. Our client intended to create a dessert tower with groundbreaking and storytelling that can impress people deeply. So we came to think about how to mix and match the traditional Korean dishes and the typical dessert tower culture of Europe, where you can feel the kindness and hospitality with the food keeping in its original form. Therefore, we creates Soban dessert tower so that customers can re-discover the charm of Korean traditional design which has been seen unconcernedly.
